McJob

McDonald's is angry that Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary has included McJob has been included into the English Language. The term first appeared in the Washington Post in 1986 and was popularized by this novel by Douglas Copland. It is described as "a low-pay, low-prestige, low-dignity, low benefit, no-future job in the service sector. Frequently considered a satisfying career choice by people who have never held one."

That describes a lot of jobs going around. Including some I have done.
